The designs for two commemorative London 2012 Oyster cards have been revealed and they feature the Queen and animated characters standing in front of Buckingham Palace.

The two special pay-as-you-go Oyster cards have been designed especially for the Olympic Games which hit London this Summer and the Queen’s Jubilee which is taking place in June. 250,000 Diamond Jubilee Oyster cards will be made available in May while 1.5 million Olympic editions will be released from June.

Costing you a whopping £10 the cards will come with a reloaded £5 balance and will be the second time TfL have come up with something like this after releasing Oyster card designs celebrating the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton last April.
