After a lot of heated debate after the initial rumour came out it has been confirmed that Lindsay Lohan will indeed be playing Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming film of the stars life.

The Elizabeth Taylor movie will be aired on TV on the Lifetime channel and there will clearly be a lot of disgruntled fans as the news spreads.

This will be Lindsay’s foray back into film and TV after her troubled spell with drugs, the law and more. This past is one of the reasons that firm Elizabeth Taylor fans are not to be impressed at the news.

Lindsay has said that she was honoured to be chosen for the role in Liz & Dick that will tell the story of Elizabeth Taylors tempestuous relationship with actor Richard Burton.

Hopefully this role will help get Lindsay back on track.
