She’s one of Lady Gaga’s favourite designers and a few weeks ago she teamed up with Cobra to create a head piece made entirely from the contents of the beer so with all this hype around her we thought it was time to sit down with Indian fashion designer Little Shilpa for a chat about her favourite places in London…

Berwick Street, Soho: It’s the most amazing place in London to pick up fabrics and there’s also loads of shops there where you can pick up jewellery that’s been exported from India.

Portobello Road Market: It’s the best place to spend an afternoon aimlessly walking around. It’s full of old trinkets. I used to live nearby so it’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Dalston: It’s such an up and coming area of London and just walking around there it’s not hard to pick up on the buzz that surrounds the place. Over the past few years so many amazing shops have opened up, it also has a great club scene, I love the Dalston Superstore.

Kew Gardens, Kew: When you’re there you wouldn’t even know you were in London. Kew Garden’s is so full of vibrant colours and that really inspires me.
