Azealia Banks and Lana Del Rey have joined forces to record a duet for a remix of Del Rey’s most recent single, Blue Jeans.
The track, which you can listen to below, has been remixed by Simms and Belle (the alter-ego of Foster And The People which they use to put out remixes) and features vocals from Banks who is currently the UK number one with her debut single 212.
This isn’t the first time a big name has taken on remixing duties for Blue Jeans just last week we told you about Odd Future’s remix of the track which has been taken from a special remixes package being released alongside the single. D/R/U/G/S, Blood Orange and Kris Menace also appear on the release.
We have to say that Simms and Belle and Banks have done a really good job on this one, it’s above and beyond our favourite remix of the track and we actually think that we prefer it to the original track.
Meanwhile it sounds like Del Rey is keen to keep on the duet bandwagon, she recently spoke of how she’d like to team up with Professor Green for a track. We’re not so sure that collaboration would work as well as this one though.
Hear Banks do her thing on the Blue Jeans remix below.
