Lohan is putting her recent hit and run drama to one side in this poster to take on her alter ego Taylor for new film Liz and Dick.

Despite her dodgy past and notorious unreliability on set Lohan has been snapped up for a number of films this year including Bret East Ellis’ new film The Canyons.

For Liz & Dick Lohan has donned her brown wig to star alongside Grant Bowler as one of the most famous women in Hollywood. The film tells the story of Taylor’s explosive relationship with Richard Burton which saw him splashing out money he couldn’t afford on diamonds and private yachts to woo her. They became one of the most famous and photographed couples in Hollywood and although they divorced and remarried again they always kept going back to each other.

As far as pulling off the Taylor’s infamous glamour puss style we can certainly see that the actress is trying her hardest although we can’t help thinking that she looks just a little cheap.

At the moment there’s no UK release date for the film but if we hear any differently we’ll let you know.
