Part time stuntman, full time photographer Li Wei has been catching our eye recently for his bizarre yet intriguing photographs which appear to feature people hovering in mid air.

Wei uses cables, scaffolding and mirrors to stage situations that would other wise never happen to create photographs that are part illusion and part performance but he insists he never uses photoshop to help him create the finished product. Instead he’s happier dangling himself from high structures in order to get the perfect shot. We’re particularly big fans of the groom flying through the air while holding on to his brides vail and the three guys who appear to be standing on floating balloons.
