Singapore-born designer Ashley Isham opened his SS13 catwalk show with an attention grabbing puppy!  Once everyone looked beyond the cute canine we discovered that the collection was elegant and girly, encompassing pretty hues and feminine silhouettes.

Another Central Saint Martins graduate, Isham is a favourite among the stars – dressing Lady Gaga, Erin O’Connor and Christina Aguilera.  He was also selected as the official designer for thr 2004 Bafta’s.

Isham cited Orphism (an art movement founded by French artist, Sonia Delaunay) as his inspiration for the collection.  This was evident in the geometric shapes and impactful colours.

Sitting back against these girly dresses were ’60′s beehives and cute headbands, whilst footwear was sky-high peep-toe shoes
