So it was 7:05pm and the show was already running 20mins late when all of the sudden everybody looked towards the entrance, flashes started to go off and people stood up to see what all the fuss was about, it was Amber Rose arriving in a black wet-look bodycon skin tight dress with some killer heels followed by MIA in a teal silk two raw piece suit with colorful smartie like buttons! Yes the front row at Ashish’s show was in full swing; Paloma Faith (Dressed like a cool Gypsy), Marina and the diamonds (without any diamonds) Amber Rose, US stylist Karen, Fashionista Jason Boateng and MIA all sitting next to each other. There was a real feeling of excitement before the show kicked off and I new it was going to be a good one. Scottish tartan was a strong theme and colorful sequins mixed and matched with destressed moth-eaten knitwear were used throughout. Shabby chic but done in a very luxurious way. There were also some looks for the guys, one guy model had on some sequin union jack boxer shorts with a worn out stone wash denim jacket embellished with pins while the other had some light blue tartan trousers made from lightweight sequins and an off the shoulder dark green jumper that looked like it had been found in a skip – But with all due respect I’m talking about a skip that you would find in the queens back yard. The Makeup was flawless by MAC and the hair was messy but controlled by Loreal with a buzzing great soundtrack by MIA.
