When we heard the story about ‘Miracle Bob’, one of the tiniest ever puppies to ever be rescued by the RSPCA we just knew that we had to give him a shout out on WJ Online.
Poor Bob is just eight weeks old and has already gone through the ordeal of being dumped in the car park of a veterinary practise weighing just under a kilo. As if that wasn’t bad enough for Bob he also had a ruptured eyeball.
So here we are lending our support to Bob and also tipping him as something of a puppy fashion icon because we’re absolutely loving the way he’s rocking his blue fur coat.
So in honour of Miracle Bob we thought we’d tell you about some other animal charities and sanctuaries in London where you can buy a pet if you’re in the market for one…
The Wood Green Animal Shelter, this animal charity offer rehoming programmes for cats, dogs, field animals and small animals such as rabbits.
Riverside Animal Centre, based in Wallington they rehome all the usual pets however they also have an ‘others’ category where you might be able to find something a bit unusual.
Croydon Animal Samaritans, if you live in the Croydon area these guys have a huge number of animals waiting to be rehomed.
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, arguably the most well known animal rehoming centre in the whole of London they do in depth back ground checks on both you and the pets so that you find the animal which is most suited to you.
RSPCA, and lastly we’re giving love to these guys, not only do they have some amazing animals waiting to be rehomed but they also saved Bob and we have to give them love for that.
