Chic, sleek and functional was the order of the day for the Nicole Farhi menswear collection this season. Heavy knits in monochrome strips matched with chunky scarves and hats, cardigans and slimline coats in muted hues and varied shades of greys and white.

Classic and preppy styles were contrasted with bold prints on shirts or sweaters which gave the collection a directional edge. Suits came in delicate grey tweeds, subtly finished off with simple buttons and lining, layered over simple shirts and cardigans.

I particularly loved the aviator jackets – which gave the more tailored looks a casual feel and added a bit of edge to the styling. I also adored the tight, high collars and polo necks which gave a crisp feel to the suits and jackets.

 A strong, simple and lively showcase from Farhi which ticked all the right boxes and offered a great range of modern classics for the discerning male customer.
