When I looked at the invite for the Baartmans & Siegel presentation and noticed the location was none other than an Odeon cinema, I was both excited and curious to see what they had in store for us. After walking around London all morning, being offered some fat free frozen yoghurt and a comfy seat to watch the show was a godsend.
The Autumn/Winter 2013 collection itself was exquisite and showed the design duo at the top of their game. The collection included everything you need in a male winter wardrobe, from a tweed suit combo to an old school shiny bomber jacket. The highlight of the show for me was an oversized vibrant red jacket proving to be a popular colour for designers this season.
Cinematic viewing for a fashion show really is a great idea and a breath of fresh air from over-crowded show spaces. The collection remained on stage for a number of minutes giving you the chance to appreciate each garment and the opportunity to take some great pictures.
