Knife Party have announced that their new EP with some interesting snake like, feathery imagery, Rage Valley is to be released on the 28th May on Beatport. You will be able to find it on iTunes on the 4th June.
Knife Party has flown at a rate of knotts to the forefront of electronic music over the past 12 months with not so much as a bat of an eyelid.
This will be the follow up to their first EP, 100% No Modern Talking, it’s pretty hard to believe they’ve not had an album out yet.
However without an album Knife party have already achieved 500,000 downloads of their first EP ‘100% No Modern Talking’, a Beatport number 1, close to 350,000 Facebook fans, 7 million plays of ‘Internet Friends’ on YouTube alone, and appearances headlining shows and festivals to crowds of tens of thousands. Remixing Porter Robinson, Labrinth and Nero to name a few, Knife Party also collaborated with Swedish House Mafia on the phenomenal 2012 worldwide smash ‘Antidote’.
That’s not a bad list of achievements at all.
But added to that they have curated their own Earstorm stage at Future Music Festival in their native Australia, to played the main stage at Ultra in Miami, opened a brand new 75,000 square foot club Brooklyn Terminal Project in New York, and will be doing festival sets across Europe this Summer.
Get the EP in your diary, you’ll want it come June, we assure you.
