Not only is Keith Haring one of the coolest, most well respected popular artists of our generation skateboarding is also massively in right now so these skateboards featuring Haring’s work just have to be shown off.
Created by Alien Work Shop the brightly coloured boards feature Haring’s politically and socially inspired illustrations that are as instantly recognisable as the work of any other artist. As well as boards you can also get your hands on illustrated wheels, tees, hoodies and hats from the shop.
After going to the School of Visual Arts in New York Haring became inspired by the cities graffiti scene and began himself making chalk pieces on the subway as the creation of the pieces were filmed he then began to build up a fan base around the city. His active figures, in-you-face-colours and political stance led him to become one of the most respected pop artists of the 21st Century.
