Katy B has release two tracks on her Vevo, and the 23 year old, Brit school graduate certainly hasn’t disappointed us.
The first is a tune called ‘Aaliyah’, an absolutely amazing sound, with the sultry vocals of both Katy and Mercury Music nominated Jessie Ware, as well as some fantastic production from Geeneus (Rinse FM.)
We feel it’s power is enormous; such an evocative sound, and a poignant nod towards the musician Aaliyan. Rest In Peace. Unfortunately, this song doesn’t have any visuals just yet; but, you can watch the teaser audio video above.
The second track, ‘Got Paid’, is also an absolute banger. Much more on the party vibe, this song features Wiley and drum & bass legend, DJ Zinc. Katy B’s voice is, as per usual, totally rewarding and perfect for that drum & bass sound. Her voice lends itself so well to the garage/ dnb genres, that the sounds seamlessly blend together.
