As the Jimmy Savile enquiry becomes all forms of seriously concerning Madame Tussauds have announced that the late TV host’s waxwork has be melted down and no longer on show at the London tourist hotspot.
The Jimmy Savile waxwork has been on show since 1986 when it was first unvieled but now there will be an empty space where the statue once was.
As the concern filters through every layer of anything concerning the man and a total of 300 victims come to light a painting auctioned off last month by Macmillan Cancer Charity has also been dismissed and returned to the auctioneers although the cost of the portrait, £400 has not been reclaimed.
