Pop sensation Jessie J may soon find that, after all, it is about the money, money, money.
That’s because she’s being sued.
Californian singer, Will Loomis, has accused Jessie J of ripping off his song, ‘Bright Red Chords’ with ‘Domino’, her second UK number one.
Earlier this year, Loomis posted a comparison of the two songs onto Youtube, but no sooner had he clicked upload than Jessie’s record label had vetoed the video.
As if that didn’t infuriate Loomis enough, he then saw Jessie singing ‘Domino’ to the Queen at her Diamond Jubilee and took to his band’s, Loomis and the Lusts’, Facebook page to vent:
“When I wrote this melody in my garage I never imagined it would be sung for the King and Queen of England… I especially never imagined it would be sung by Jessie J.”
Loomis is asking for $150,000 (£96,000) in damages.
What do you think- is Loomis right?
