It’s official, the 23rd James Bond movie is going to be called Skyfall and if that wasn’t exciting enough for you news of the plot has also emerged along with the official title image (above).

All the usual suspects will be returning including Daniel Craig and Judi Dench with Sam Mendes taking on the directing duties. The official synopsis from Sony reads like this: “In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

So now you know. Expect more hype than Bond has drunk martinis over the coming months as filming gets underway.
