Here’s a new trailer for the latest film adaption of a book by Jo Nesbo, Jackpot.
You may remember earlier this year that Nesbo had his critically acclaimed novel Headhunters turned into a film starring Aksel Hennie. Well it seems the crime fiction writer is rather popular this year with an adaption of Jackpot due to hit cinemas next week.
Jackpot is set in Sweden and tells the story of a guy called Oscar who wakes up in the middle of a stripe club with a gun in his hands and surrounded by eight dead people who the policeman standing in front of him is convinced he killed. There’s only one issue here, Oscar is convinced that he isn’t guilty.
Believe it or not despite it’s violent nature this film is actually a comedy about four men who struggled to split a huge soccer pool jackpot they all won.
The first trailer looks pretty damn ace so we’ll definitely be popping along for a viewing when it’s released on 10th August.
