Jack White has announced that he will be playing his first UK headline show this June right here in London.

Playing London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 22nd June the show will be White’s first solo show in the UK since leaving The White Stripes to pursue a solo career. The show is taking place the day before White is due to playing BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend on the Hackney marshes and will mark the end of an extensive stint of touring for White.

White hasn’t held back since The White Stripes disbanded at the end of last year going on to record his first album Blunderbuss which is already available on pre-order as well as giving us first listens of what the album will sound like ahead of the albums release on 23rd April.
