The revealing of the iPad 3 was always going to cause mass hysteria everywhere and with it’s much improved screen, resolution and capabilities there’s already fears that supplies wont meet demand but according to a report today the new iPad could be too smart for us Brits.
One of the most exciting things about the iPad 3 is the announcement that it will come with the super fast 4G phone connection which will mean web based videos will play instantly with no buffering or delays. However sadly British users wont be able to enjoy this function.
This is because 4G networks have yet to be rolled out in the UK and they’re not due to either until the end of 2012 by which time there will probably be an even newer iPad or Apple product to get excited by.
After all that there’s also fears that even when the UK gets 4G it could still cause problems as the British version, which runs largely on old analogue TV spectrum, might not even be compatible with the American devise.
With many of the new functions shown during this weeks unveiling depending on the super-fast connection it could mean that British users wont get anywhere near the same experience as users in other countries will.
