Anyone who’s anyone with a smartphone is using Instagram right now (and let’s face it; that’s most of you). It’s a fun, easy and accessible way to publish your pictures online, to share with your friends and the whole www community – and it’s taken the social media world by storm.

Unsurprisingly, new start-ups are popping up to cash in on the trend. Our favourite has to be Instasparkle, a company that allows you to transform your favourite Instagram shots into wearable customised photo frames. Whether it’s a photo of your cat, boyfriend or a sandy beach you visited on holiday, you can capture the moment forever in a wood-framed necklace or brooch.

In our hyper-fast visual lives, where hundreds of thousands of images are uploaded onto the Internet a day (and more often than not quickly forgotten), it’s refreshing to come across a company that will let you immortalise a photo to really last like this. Plus, they look pretty cute.

Just don’t use a picture of your dinner – we get enough of that on Facebook…
