Earlier this week we told you that Mr Brainwash had taken over the Old Sorting Office in Oxford Circus to host a new exhibition and now we’ve found this new behind-the-scenes video featuring an interview with the aritst.
The video has been shot by Crane.tv and they’ve taken a look inside the five floor space which includes work by the controversial street artist that is both old and new. As well as a sneaky peak at what to expect from the exhibition there’s also an interview with the man himself who opens up about how he thinks street art should bring happiness to people’s lives and how, if he could, he’d totally give Buckingham Palace an artistic make over.
He also speaks about his large scale works and his love of making things big and in-your-face. However despite his positive outlook on making his art work as large as possible it’s this kind of attitude that has lost him some fans. As anyone who’s seen him in the Banksy documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop will know Mr Brainwash does have something of an ego about him and many think his OTT opinion of himself comes across in his sometimes self absorbed works.
The exhibition runs until 29th August and is open from 1pm daily.
