Google are arguably the single most influential website in the world and so it makes sense that they never do things by halves. As if to prove our point pictures have emerged from inside Google’s new London HQ.
Unlike any office we’ve ever had the pleasure of working in the companies Soho based workers can now enjoy such mod cons as a dining area that looks more like a living room, a chill out room with massive sofas for lying out on, a swanky terrace complete with grass and trees and offices that look more like bedrooms than work spaces. Essentially we don’t see how the workers are going to get anything done other than relaxing.
But before you go thinking that Google bosses have missed a trick by not making the offices more, well, office like there’s method to their madness. Designed by architects PENSION each room is designed to maximise productivity meaning employees will apparently get more done than we first thought.
