Will.I.Am has finally made his first public forray into the world of consumer tech with his new (rather expensive) iPhone case with camera, the i.am+ foto.sosho.
The name is God awful, we just had to get that out quick. Anyone that puts part of their name into a product and then just makes up different spellings of works to go with it is a little vain and a little faddy but then is that not just what Will.I.Am is?
The design has been slammed by many but we actually like it. It’s very Madonna ‘Music Makes The People Come Together’ all white and gold – but if you don’t like the bling you can opt for old school black and steel.
The cases don’t just give your iPhone a case, camera lens and keyboard, they also boost your 8 Megapixel camera up to 14 Megapixels which is pretty cool. The cameras also come with a free app that has filters etc for added value camera use.
Up until now these camera cases have only been available in Selfridges for around £200 but now they have gone into selected Apple stores getting the Mac seal of approval.
