The Barfly in Camden nr Chalk Farm had a big old fight on its hands when Kid British began to play their London last gig (1 more will be played in December in their hometown of Manchester) on Tuesday night.
Riot police were called to the venue after rival football supporters began fights only 3 songs into the gig.
A bevy of Millwall and Westham fans turned up at the gig and were intent on causing trouble running into the mosh pit at the front of the stage and picking on innocent gig goers to beat up.
A blogger wrote of the event
“They just all started beating the crap out of each other, there were four older men in Burberry suits at the back standing trying to act hard who were somehow involved and initiating it.
“The men from the mosh kept coming to them and these men were telling them to beat up these innocent guys, it was disgusting.”
Many were arrested as the police tried to get a handle on things although a lot it was said were innocent. Kid British Tweeted after the whole debacle :
“Disgusting behaviour from @metPoliceUK tonight. Arresting the wrong people just to meet targets. Disgusting. EVERYONE RT THIS!!”
6 men in total were arrested.
