Ever dreamed of becoming a stencil artist like Banksy but didn’t quite know how to start? Well fear not because a new video has landed online telling you how to do just that.
Created by graphic designer Pahnl the video teaches you how to create your own stencils and also how to spray them onto a surface creating your own street art piece.
Entitled The Sound of Stenciling the video shows Pahnl a 122cm x 30.5cm x 4cm piece called And I’m Not Going To Take This Anymore inspired by riots in areas such as London and Athens.
However don’t make the mistake we did and think ‘that looks pretty straight forward’. Naturally things have been speeded up for the video in real time this piece took some 50 hours of designing and 45 hours of cutting.
With that in mind we suggesting using the video for guidelines and maybe trying your hand at a more simple design. At least for your first attempt.
