Hennes (H&M) have decided to host their first catwalk at Paris Fashion Week and it look like it has got off to good reviews.
It was a strange choice for the Swedish brand considering it’s high street counterparts have always shown in London, being Topshop, River Island and Whistles. Never the less H&M unveiled 25 nice clean and high end tailored looks from their autumn/winter 2013 collection to the Paris fashion crowd.
They didn’t do it by halves either. Hennes used the Musée Rodin at their venue, which has previously hosted shows for Yves Saint Laurent and Dior, they also had a pretty good key audience in attendance.
What the catwalk did show however were some exciting pieces coming up for next Autumn Winter. HIgh volume mid thigh skirts, a return for the over the knee boot and big warm fluffy cardigans were the order of the day.
