Hennes has this morning announced that its newest designer collaboration will be with the dark and simple lines of Maison Martin Margiela.

After announcing the news on Twitter this morning the subject instantly began trending, which is not surprising as we see time and time again people go crazy for these designer collaborations.

Maison Martin Margiela is a great match for Hennes, with their black cream and white colour palette and sleek, simple silhouettes and we, just like everyone else, are excited to see what will come of the hook up.

Some are touting this as the most avant garde partner yet for Hennes whose past collaborations have included Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Madonna, Roberto Cavalli, Comme des Garçons, Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo, Sonia Rykiel, Lanvin, Versace, Marni and David Beckham.

The collaborations started with Karl Lagerfeld in 2004.

Both men’s and women’s collections will come from the designer for Hennes in November, the 15th to be exact.
