As final preparations for the London 2012 Games get going London boroughs have began their decoration processes by putting up Olympic themed bunting.

To put it into some context if you lined up all the bunting being put up by London boroughs side by side it would be the equivalent length of 2000 Routemaster buses.

As well as bunting various areas of London are also getting ready to erect interactive installations including a giant song board in King’s Cross and a giant tea making machine in Victoria.

The decorations are the last stage in the Olympic preparation process which has seen each borough being given £50,000 in order to spruce up its appearance in time for the tourists to start arriving to London.
