Royal Mail are getting involved in the whole Olympics thing by painting some of their post boxes gold around London and the UK to mark the gold medals that are being won by the UK.

They look rather pretty glistening away in the sun near some of London’s most famous tourist spots and generally about the UK.

For every Team GB and ParalympicsGB win gold medal win during the London 2012 another post box will be painted.

Sadly the post box that celebrated Jessica Ennis’s win has already been graffitied and is currently having to be re-painted in Sheffield.
