Fancy something different for breakfast? How about a fruit sandwich? Sounds strange doesn’t it but down at Whole Foods they are all the rage!
This morning the fruit sandwich of the day is the Pineapple Breakfast Sandwich. These are available in store and also as a recipe on the Whole Foods website so you can make it yourself.
It is an open-face sandwich and it makes for a bright, filling, and above all healthy breakfast. It contains of course pineapple but also strawberries and walnuts. For a tropical twist, skip the strawberries and walnuts and top with bananas and shredded coconut instead.
