Girls. Who remembers back in the 90′s when hair mascara was all the rage? Well it looks like the slightly weird trend is making a come back.

When we were in our teen years we’d spend ages trying to get our pink and blue L’Oreal just right. Of course it actually looked pretty rubbish but at the time it was the height of sophisticated teenage fashion.

Now with the current trend for pastel coloured and dip-dyed hair beauty brands are digging into their archives and putting hair mascara back on sale. There’s a few reasons why we might actually consider embracing this trend, the first being that they wash out meaning that not only can we chop and change the colours we have but there will be no mistake that can’t be undone. The second is that with several years of experience behind them the latest batch of hair mascaras should be a slightly higher quality than the ones we used when we were younger which made our hair feel like it was about to snap off when it dried.
