If you’ve popped onto Google today you may have noticed that today’s doodle is celebrating the life of infamous artist Keith Haring.
Haring, who’s birthday it is today, has had his famous dancing men paintings transformed to spell out the word ‘Google’ above the search box to celebrate what would have been his 54th birthday.
Inspired by dance music and New York street style the American artist was mentored by Andy Warhol and has since gone on to become one of the most iconic artists to have ever lived.
The tribute on Google today is a rather fitting one as Haring always believed that his work should be available to everyone and not just to the art elite.
If you’re a fan of Google’s doodles and you’ve also got a talent for art then you might want to get in touch with the search engine who are currently looking for a new Doodle artist. Find out all the details right here.
