The follow up to the hit adaption of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has been postponed and isn’t likely to be released until 2014.
Despite the fact original reports said that the second adaption of the novels by Stieg Larsson was going to be released in 2013 we’ve heard word today that that isn’t the case anymore.
Apparently the script still needs some serious working on and the studio aren’t keen to rush things and produce a below standard film. As well as that they still haven’t decided on a director. Dragon Tattoo direction David Fincher is obviously was the first choice although as yet he hasn’t signed on the dotted line.
When it is finally released the next film will centre around two reporters who are murdered the night before they are due to publish a report about sex trafficking. However when Daniel Craig’s character goes to investigate he finds his friend Lisbeth Salander’s (Rooney Mara) prints on the murder weapon.
