With several gigs and tours announced around London today we thought we’d compiled a nice comprehensive list for you so that you don’t miss out on any of the best ones.

This afternoon Bombay Bicycle Club announced that they would be supporting Blur as part of their Olympic Closing Ceremony gig in Hyde Park this August. BBC will play alongside the Brit Pop legends as well as The National and The Specials.

Psychedelic band Animal Collective have announced that they will be playing London’s Roundhouse venue on 4th November as part of a short tour of the UK and Ireland. The band will be performing tracks from their new album Centipede Hz which is due for release on 3rd September.

After marking her come back to the music scene after taking a bit of time off earlier this year Paloma Faith has announced that she is heading out in a UK tour next year. The tour will see her playing a number of dates across the country including London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 7th February.

As well as venue gigs there’s also been some festival announcements this today. Sleigh Bells, Feeder and The View have all been added to the line up for Reading/Leeds festival which takes place between 24th – 26th August.
