Warner Bros have made the decision to cut a violent scene set in a cinema in light of the weekends tragedy in America.
You can’t have failed to miss the news of the shooting at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises over the weekend and so Warner Bros are being especially careful not to offend or upset anyone. So they’ve decided to cut a scene in the upcoming Gangster Squad (starring Tom Hardy) in which Sean Penn’s character enters the Grauman’s Chinese theater shooting tommy guns.
Naturally the film house are doing everything they can to make sure that they are sensitive towards the incident which saw 12 people being killed and have also pulled TV adverts for The Dark Knight Rises as well as cancelling a number of press events.
If you’re interested to see the cinema scene it’s featured in the original Gangster Squad trailer we posted a few weeks ago.
