Frank Ocean has just missed out on being named the BBC’s Sound Of 2012 after being named second on the list of musicians competing for the title.
The 15 strong list of nominees was released late last year and included the likes of Dot Rotten, Dry The River, Jamie N Commons, Azealia Banks and A$AP Rocky. While the overal winner wont be announced until tomorrow (Friday 6th January) the BBC have released a few of the artists rankings on the list with producer and 2011 success story Skrillex coming in at fourth place while festival favourites Niki & The Dove came in at fifth place.
