Florence and the Machine have today debuted a new track, Breath of Life which will feature on the soundtrack for Snow White and the Huntsman.
The track, which you can listen to below, has been recorded for the Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth starring Snow White and the Huntsman which is being released in the UK on 1st June.
Breath of Life was recorded in LA with the backing of an orchestra and has apparently been inspired by the film’s evil Queen which is played by Charliz Theron. If just having a listen to the track isn’t enough for you you’ll be able to buy it when it’s released as part of the sound track at the end of May.
Meanwhile Florence and the Machine recently released an MTV Unplugged album which saw the band performing live versions of tracks such as Shake It Out, What The Water Gave Me and Drumming Song as well as a cover of Jerry Leiber and Billy Edd Wheeler’s song Jackson which they recorded with Josh Homme. If you haven’t heard the cover yet you can check it out here.
