If you need to travel on the North Circular today through Brent Cross then there’s a good chance you’d be better doing it by boat.
That’s because a huge flood has left the area looking more like a muddy river than a London road. The trouble began this morning when a 24-inch water main burst leaving the section of the road shut both ways all day.
On top of that if you live in the Brent Cross area you may living in one of the 1,600 who are currently having to make do without water.
And the disruption isn’t due to end there. It’s going to take 2 days to fix and up to a week for new concreate to be laid and to dry so if you use that route to get to work we suggest finding an alternative for a few days at least.
