Attention all Twilight fans we have a pretty exciting picture to show you. It’s the first look at Bella Swan and Edward Cullen’s daughter Renesmee.

While the Twi-hards among you gather your composure we’ll chat the rest of you through why this moment is so significant.

Renesmee is the half human, half vampire daughter of Bella and her vampire husband Edward who was conceived during the last film, Breaking Dawn: Part 1. As anyone who’s seen the film will know Renesmee took a real toll on Bella as she continued to suck the life out of her mother from the inside in order to stay alive.

As Renesmee is no normal child (she ages at a ridiculous rate) fans of the series have been waiting with baited breath to see how film makers will portray her in Breaking Dawn: Part 2, the fifth and final film in the franchise.

The first image of Renesmee is a fairly cryptic one and we can only just about see her peeking through her parents as they stand protectively in front of her. However it should be enough to keep those excited about the films November release happy until we can get a better picture.
