If you’re planning a quiet one at home this Friday night then why not check out one of these three films showing on TV tonight…
Public Enemies, 10.35pm, ITV: Starring Johnny Depp, James Russo and Stephen Dorff Public Enemies tells the real-life story of the last years of notorious bank robber John Dillinger as he is chased by the Feds. Although the film isn’t totally accurate the cast did spend time filming in locations where real-life events happened and is a great film for anyone who likes a criminal thriller.

The Village, 10pm, Watch: Joaquin Pheonix and Adrien Brody star in this film about a quiet village which lives in fear of the mysterious creatures living in the woods that surround their homes. When they start to believe they can no longer carry on living side-by-side there are some fairly disastrous consequences.

Date Movie, 12.15am, Channel 4: If you’re going out tonight and are planning to roll in and find something to chill out in front of then try Date Movie. This spoof movie basically takes the piss out of your typical Hollywood rom coms in particular My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Meet The Fockers. We can’t promise it’ll all be funny but if you’re still up at gone 12 to watch it the chances are you’ll have consumed enough booze to make it seem funnier than it actually is.
