This week sees the release of two of the most highly anticipated films of the year and below is our guide to both of them and what else you should be seeing at the cinema this week…
We’ve been raving on and on about this latest take on the classic Disney film for some time now which hopefully tells you how great it’s going to be. This new version of Snow White takes on a much darker stance with Snow White appearing as a self confident fighter ready to fight back at the evil Queen who is trying to kill her. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron it’s bound to be one of the biggest films of 2012.

The prequel to Alien is finally with us after months and months of anticipation and speculation. So far the films director Ridley Scott has been very careful to not give too much away about what’s going to happen in this film but from what we’ve seen it’s going to be one hell of an epic journey. Starring Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Noomi Repace and Charlize Theron as a group of intergalactic explorers who believe they’ve discovered the origins of mankind.

If you’re after something a bit more light hearted this week then try LOL the latest film from Demi Moore and teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus. It’s a typical high-school film that will probably only be enjoyed by people who are into teen-romance and a pop-lead sound track.
