Following the recent success of The Expendables 2 an all female version of the film is now in the works.
Following on from the franchise thought up by Sylvester Stallone the film will see the story moving forward but this time with a team of female action heroes at the forefront.
Rumour has it that front runners to be cast in the film include Sigourney Weaver, Uma Thurman, Linda Hamilton and Michelle Rodriguez, none of which are strangers to the action movie genre.
Of course the original Expendables line up includes Bruce Willis, Jet Li and Arnold Schwarzenegger and follows a bunch of unlikely action heroes who go on various missions to save the world.
At the moment there’s no exact news on the kind of direction this new take on the film will follow and it’s early days as far as casting is concerned but no doubt we’ll be hearing more very soon.
