It’s that time of year again, when you put away your dolly shoes and sandals so you can take off shopping for more weather appropriate footwear.  To help you with your search for the perfect boots, I have compiled a guide to what I believe are the most stylish footwear for the autumn months.

Buckled boots are one of the top trends when it comes to foowear this season, A buckle of your boot is the best detail to be seen with on your feet and better still it works on a number of different styles.  The best look to go for with a buckle however is the biker boot and these ones (above) from ASOS are £65 – perfect.

If you looking for a more formal buckled boot maybe for work or evening events then these ones above are gorgeous.  Black leather with oversized patterned buckles and a heel from Topshop for £95. These shoes mean business.

Studs look set to never leave and studded boots are again popular with designer and high street brands alike this season.  These tan leather studded boots with cut out detail and a zip on the back are the more subtle look to go for, from Topshop at £85.

If you’re a fellow stud enthusiast then these Office boots are sure to satisfy! Linking in with the buckle look, these black leather boots for £80 are perfect for wear during the day or the night.

One of the newest trends this season has to be the Chelsea boot, these are a classic riding book shape with an elastic gusset from Topshop for £62.  This particular shoe is a necessity if you want to go for a really up to the minute stylish look.

Long equestrian boots as well as short are back this winter but this time with a twist of glamour.  Just like these Topshop riding boots, an elegant shape with contrasting tanned leather make these boots stand out.

Last but certainly not least is the print trend, snakeskin, leopard skin and floral prints are all making an appearance for footwear fashion this winter. These leopard print block heeled ankle boots from River Island would be ideal teamed with and all black ensemble for the maximum print impact.
