The Horrors frontman Faris Badwan has announced that he’ll be hosting an exhibition of his art work right here in London in September.

Now when we first heard this story we have to admit we rolled our eyes. There’s nothing worse than fairly talented musicians/comedians/actors who think that just because they’re in the limelight they’re automatically allowed to think they’re good at other creative pursuits. However we have to admit that were too quick to judge because after seeing some of his sketches online we have to hold our hands up and say he’s actually pretty good.

The exhibition, entitled Creatures in Colour: Sketchbooks from Faris Badwan, will be taking place at the Proud owned Strand Gallery between 18th – 30th September. You can expect to see some of Badwan’s sketches as well as some of his watercolour works if you pop along.
