Firstly you’ve got to be a certain type of person to get a hole punctured though your nose for a bull ring and if you are not prepared to commit to that then you are not that type of person ergo you shouldn’t be wearing a bull nose ring at all.

The other issue is that with the fake option the jewellery is getting bigger as wait doesn’t matter nearly so much. Let’s face it no one wants a nose that looks like an ear minus its flesh tunnel.

Still, as fashion is focuses on finding anything possibly slightly new to rave about and promote the fake nose ring will continue to show itself no doubt over the coming months.

And this is a trend that is not just for women either a Givenchy has brought out a menswear nose ring, we’re not even joking, it featured in Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy A/W12 menswear show. It’s £200 if you want one but we personally thing it looks a bit like the Swarovski crystals are snot beads.
