Seven people have been left injured, one seriously after a blast at Croydon police station this morning.
Five people were in need of hospital treatment, one seriously after an unexplained explosion at the police station in Croydon. According to reports around 20 emergency vehicles were called to the site including the Air Ambulance with one man needing to be airlifted to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford suffering from burns. At the moment there’s no news on what caused the explosion however it is not thought to be terrorist related. The station has been evacuated as has Park Lane south-bound and Friends Road which are now both closed.
