As part of our Exhibitions Abroad series we look at the latest exhibition to hit gallery and boutique agnès b, Musique Plastique.
New York based venue is currently playing host to a celebration of visual-music artists such as Tobias Bernstrup, Etienne Charry, David Shrigley, Jonas Mekas and Thurston Moore.
For Musique Plastique artists were asked by curator Jean François Sanz to make paintings, installations, sculptures, videos and drawings inspired by music. Each piece is accompanied by a track or playlist that best represents the work which can be listened to by visitors via headphones which have been placed next to them.
Unfortunately we can’t do anything about bringing the music element of things to you but we have compiled some images from the exhibition above so that you can check it out for yourself.
