Ok so what we’re about to show you isn’t technically an exhibition but it is an art event currently taking place abroad and it’s just too stunning to not share.
This floating umbrella art installation can currently be found hanging in Agueda, Portugal as part of the countries Agitagueda festival.
Unfortunately we can’t find any information at all about who’s idea this installation was but we can tell you that the pictures seen below were snapped by a researcher called Patricia Almeida.
This is just the type of thing that wouldn’t work here in the UK, mainly because the sun rarely shines and we need all the umbrellas on the ground so that we never run out, but exactly the sort of thing that works well in hotter climates. It’s so pretty that we’re kind of jealous we can’t see if with our own eyes.
