New phone company EE will be the first in the country to offer 4G as it launches the new service at Battersea Power Station on the 1st November.
EE or, Everything Everywhere, the new amalgamation brand that spawned from Orange and T Mobile will be offering the rather tongue-twister-esque 4GEE to customers with enabled phones from the 30th October.
It is said that the new 4GEE will offer speeds five times faster than 3G. There will be new services along with the 4GEE super fast broadband including EE Film the only service in the UK which ‘combines 2 for 1 cinema ticketing, listings, trailers and film downloads or streaming in one place.’
The pricing is not going to be too different either which is good news.
EE launch their 4G service on Thursday with a party that includes a performance by Nicole Scherzinger and digital illusionist Marco Tempest but we’re really not sure who’s going to be running out to buy it.
